The project occupies a modest single-storey house, standing in stark contrast to the surrounding high-rise buildings.
This striking difference in scale was one of our first impressions when approaching the site.
While the building operates as a restaurant, it is also rooted in a distinct cultural context, with the activities taking place within unfolding as a quiet, continuous flow - subtle yet pervasive.
Amid an urban landscape characterized by the rigid and cool expression of contemporary development, the house introduces a sense of intimacy and warmth through its small-scale spaces and lively atmosphere.
Rather than competing with its surroundings, the project embraces its modest scale and creates a distinct spatial experience within the dense urban fabric.
